Over the past few years, I’ve done what most of us do when we feel like our bodies are betraying us — I went looking for answers. Between late-night Google spirals, podcast rabbit holes, and Instagram scrolls, I’ve pulled together a treasure trove of resources that have helped me feel informed, seen, and (finally) validated. I’ve devoured books like The New Menopause by Dr Mary Claire Haver, and Menopausing by Davina McCall with Dr Naomi Potter. I'm excited to read How to Menopause by Tamsan Fadal which is on my To Read list as we speak!
Podcasts like The Dr. Louise Newson Podcast, The Midlife Feast, and Pause Perfectly have been constant companions on dog walks and duvet days. And thank goodness for the Instagram community — accounts like @tamsanfadal, @drmaryclaire, @frank.nutrition, @the.menopausecoach, @dr_naomipotter, and of course, a growing wave of midlife women (like me!) using humour, honesty and hot flushes to spread awareness. These voices have guided me — and now, I’m here to pass that torch to you. 💛
Read on below for some of my favourite anecdotes, podcast episodes and websites with research backed, scientific research.
I’m not a doctor, clinician, or medical professional — just a woman navigating perimenopause with a lot of questions, late-night research tabs, and a deep desire to feel better (and help others feel seen too).
Everything I share on this site, in my content, and in my eBook is based on personal experience, self-education, and what’s worked for me. It’s here to inform, support, and spark conversations — not to replace medical advice.
